Gary Huff, the founder and principal of Take Charge, LLC, is a clinical lab Industry veteran with over 30 years of experience. Take Charge has an exclusive affiliation with Advanced Strategic Partners to provide consultative services including strategic planning, board advisory and operational guidance.
He has successfully led large, medium, and small commercial clinical laboratories, Fortune 500, public, private equity-backed, and multi-site companies.

Rick Cooper
Rick Cooper joined Advanced Strategic Partners effective January 1, 2023. Prior to joining Advanced, Rick was a Partner at the Law firm of McDonald Hopkins, a national leader in the representation of laboratories and pathology groups.
Rick served as chair of the Firm’s Healthcare Restructuring Practice Group and was the chair/co-chair of the firm's National Healthcare Practice Group from 1992-2021. Rick has been involved in over 45 laboratory M&A and recapitalization transactions and developed a legal practice that represented over 350 laboratories and 500 pathology groups nationwide.
